Chicago Code Monkeys is a veteran-owned software and infrastructure consultancy run by Robert Wafle in Chicago. The work spans application development, cloud platforms, and the unglamorous operational layer in between — where most production problems actually live.

Rob is a hands-on technical leader with more than 25 years of experience architecting custom applications and cloud infrastructure for organizations ranging from Fortune 500 enterprises to two-person startups. He does his best work translating business goals into systems that ship, and leading the cross-functional teams that build them.

Before consulting, he served in the U.S. Army from 2003 to 2004 as an Information Systems Operator and Analyst — which is where the veteran-owned part of the story begins.
